“I liked the concept of T-Line right away, particularly the idea of multiple fixation points, which takes the tension off the mesh at any given point. The more fixation points you have, the more tension is taken off each fixation point.  Patients have not reported any more pain. With traditional monofilament sutures, you are tying lots of knots and it is not gentle on your fingers. The technique used for mesh fixation for T-Line mesh versus the conventional suture fixation where I have to throw multiple knots for each suture (1) saves me time (2) is less tedious, and (3) is less traumatic to my hand and fingers. I think T-Line can change the paradigm of how we repair ventral hernias.

“I started using T-Line because I was intrigued by the underlying concept, and it’s novel, in an area where there really has not been a lot of innovation. As an onlay mesh it does an excellent job of not just serving as a barrier but also adding a measure of strength, which is related to how the prosthetic distributes tension across the abdomen. I like the flexibility to trim the mesh and extensions and reposition them. It is very adaptable. I also like the mesh’s handling characteristics – it’s a standard weight mesh that handles like a lightweight mesh. The extensions are unique. In general, I find T-Line uniquely advantageous for use in complex cases where onlay is preferred for the mesh positioning. It has served as a singular solution in some very challenging and complex cases where I've used it. As for the Deep Blue organization, I give it an A+, 5 stars! The product support and access to information is absolutely top shelf. The people are available, responsive, and supportive, and in this domain the company stands alone.”

“I believe in securing mesh, and with T-Line the tabs are an amazing idea. First, the mesh is easy to work with – even after cutting and manipulating it, it keeps its form and stays in position. It resembles a lightweight mesh in how it looks and feels, with large pore size, but with the strength of a heavy weight mesh. With this it will incorporate well with preserved strength. Even where there is limited space to work in, it is still easy to secure. It is a very versatile mesh. I am not concerned the mesh extension is going to cut or slice through tissue like a suture will, because it is thicker. I am very cautious using new products but when I saw T-Line and tried it, it just made sense. As I started using it in practice, this verified my opinion of the product meeting my expectations. My experience with the company has also been very fluid – seamless actually – people have been prepared and responsive. “

T-Line Mesh is the most revolutionary product I've seen in 22 years of cosmetic surgery. For moderate to severe abdominal protrusion, T-Line has completely changed my approach and enthusiasm to manage these difficult cases.  It expands the potential number of patients I can treat to complete satisfaction and provides a new service line and revenue expansion.  For moderate to severe diastasis recti with protrusion, I use T-Line exclusively. For appropriate cases, surgeons should have it available, as an option or in cases of moderate to severe abdominal protrusion.  Furthermore, the CEO is the best technical CEO I’ve ever worked with – he brings a combination of personal skills, intellect, and passion. Overall, I’m thrilled with the product and the management of this company.

“T-Line is an obvious choice for certain cases like for open, onlay procedures. Also when removing a lot of skin and fat, I would use it preferentially. For onlay, the extensions are a nice way to get the mesh into position, and I like the idea of the potential to use the extensions. The people at Deep Blue are all very professional, timely, supportive, and there when you need them.”

“I too have used the T-line Mesh and have had an excellent experience with it. The fixation system is like no other and really gives you great strength and flexibility. I think all will like this new product.  I think this product has a lot of usefulness!”

Dr. Jamie P. Levine, MD, NYU Langone - Plastic Surgeon

“The main feature of T-Line Mesh is that the fixation strips are built in – they allow me to place the mesh in a proper and stable way, provide good fixation, and make the process about 15 minutes faster because you can work on both sides simultaneously.”

Flavio Malcher, MD, Msc, FACS - General Surgeon

Director, Abdominal Core Health Program, Associate Professor of Surgery, NYU Grossman School of Medicine

“With T-Line the extensions appealed to me from a tension perspective, so I tried it and liked it. It is very reliable. I can tension it well and realize the gains of onlay with a nice aesthetic as far as how it lies. It’s easy to use and can be cut to the size needed. The ability to cut some of the extensions off is nice if you don’t need them. T-Line is a versatile tool.  I also like the organization a lot – my rep is responsive and knowledgeable. Among the many mesh companies, Deep Blue has distinguished itself.“
